Miller EMS offers Pre-hospital or 911
emergency service to citizens of Northwestern Grant
County Oklahoma to an approximately 150 square mile
area which encompasses the Town of Wakita and the
Wakita fire district. The area is super rural with an
average 30 minute transport time to the nearest

Inter-facility and hospital transfer services are
provided at several different levels of life support up to
intensive care of patients that are, for example, on
ventilators, receiving blood products, require chest tube
maintenance, multiple IV infusions, pain control, cardiac
monitoring, advanced cardiac life support, OB cases,
diabetes management and other extremely invasive care.

Residential transfer or nursing facility
transfer services are also available. Services are
available to patients that require special transport needs
such as transport to a nursing facility, from a nursing
facility to a private residence, residence to doctors
